This will be a very relaxing rural weekend retreat, with deeply nourishing and calming yoga practices that will offer you an experience free from anxiety and stress. Here you will have the time and support to practice true self care.
 
How long has it been since you allowed yourself time to switch off?
A restorative yoga retreat is all about giving yourself time, allowing yourself time to really slow down, time to exhale, time to recharge your batteries and time to heal
 
At this venue, you will experience the many different valleys of the Peak District as well as huge open skies in surroundings that invite space, warmth, comfort and reflection as well as warm friendly fireside chats. You will also practice therapeutic and restorative yoga practices with two very experienced yoga teachers; Rosemary Booker and Brigitte Riley
 
Situated in a stunning rural location close to Bakewell, this brand-new luxury retreat centre has been built to an exceptionally high standard. The rustic as well as contemporary building provides a unique location for our yoga group to enjoy the beauty of the Peak District National Park as well as the perfect antidote to wellness, nourishment, inspiration, relaxation, freedom and profound healing from the inside out. .
 
Our gorgeous venue has 11 beautifully appointed ensuite rooms and a huge open plan lounge dining room with breathtaking countryside views across the Hope Valley.

You can expect to;

  • Meet and chat with like-minded friends.
  • Delve deeply in to carefully planned restorative and nourishing yoga practices throughout the long weekend.
  • Experience luxurious, contemporary and comfortable accommodation.
  • Indulge in delicious and wholesomely healthy plant based meals made with seasonal produce as well as afternoon tea. prepared by our very own uniquely artistic, talented and creative chefs.
  • Curl up, chill out, reflect and relax in the huge open plan lounge with its comfy sofas, board games and open fires
  • Join us on a planned walk and explore the stunning scenic countryside of the Peaks (optional).
  • Unwind, slow down, turn inwards, tune in and embrace divine nature.

 

 

Schedule for the weekend
 
Friday 8th November

4 pm – Arrival, snacks and drinks. You will be shown to your room and have a chance to unwind and unpack.

5.30 – 7 pm – Restorative evening yoga practice

7.30 pm – dinner

 
Saturday 8th November

7.30 am – refreshments, tea and coffee

8 am – morning meditation and Satya somatic yoga practice

10 am – brunch.

Free time to relax, read or go for a walk

2 pm – a selection of drinks and snacks such as scones, biscuits and fruit available.

Free time.

4 – 5.30 pm – yin yoga

5.30 – 6 pm – yoga nidra

7.30 pm – dinner

 
Sunday 10th November

7.30 am – refreshments, tea and coffee

8 am – morning practice – somatics, yin and restorative yoga

10 am – hearty brunch.

12 pm – group walk in the country

2pm – Say goodbyes and head home

 

Rosemary Booker

Rosemary Booker
Rosemary has been guiding students in the art of yoga and lifestyle for well over a decade. Her host of knowledge shines through in her teachings, as she seamlessly and artistically blends the physical with the spiritual. Her fine tuning and precision of integrating the movement of the body with breath opens her students up to possibility, joy and clarity in every area of their life. You will find Rosemary’s classes inspirational, challenging and yet playful. She encourages laughter and her contagious enthusiasm will warm your heart.
Rosemary shares her teachings via Group classes in Northamptonshire, 1:1’s, workshops, short training courses and retreats in amazing places.

 

Brigitte Riley

Brigitte is a Registered Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals. She has been teaching for 17 years and has a wealth of skill and experience in many different styles of yoga. She is known for her in-depth anatomy knowledge and expertise with regards to correct body alignment, yoga for therapeutic healing, her love of fluid creative movement, her unique playlists, her inspiring writings, her philosophy on life and her ‘keeping it real’ wisdom. Brigitte’s personality, authenticity, natural warmth and heartfelt approach radiates through in to her teachings. She teaches weekly classes and private’s in Milton Keynes, UK, as well as teacher training sessions, workshops and yoga retreats nationally and internationally.

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.  You may cancel your booking so long as you do so at least 90 days before the start date in which case we will refund you the amount you have paid, less your deposit, any paypal charges incurred plus an administration fee of 10% of the price of the Event or £20, whichever is the greater.

If you cancel within 90 days of the start date of the Event there will be no refund unless we are able to transfer your booking to another participant, in which case we will refund you the amount you have paid us in respect of that, less your deposit, less any paypal fees incurred plus the administration fee calculated as set out above.
